How to make Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots?
These carrots are super easy to make, and you only need 5 ingredients. You’ll start with your carrots of course, you can use baby carrots, or peel and slice up some whole carrots into individual pieces as well. First you’ll steam the carrots for a few minutes until they start to get soft.
After the carrots are tender, drain the water, and add the glaze ingredients to the carrots. The glaze is made of brown sugar, butter, a little salt, and pepper. That’s it. Cook those together in a medium sized pot and bring to a simmer till butter is totally melted, and sugar is dissolved. Cook for another few minutes, while you stir the carrots occasionally to coat them with the glaze.
These tender brown sugar glazed carrots are the perfect side dish to go with your dinner! Everyone will gobble them up with dinner!
