Chicken fajitas are one of my favorite dinner recipes. They’re so simple and delicious. With tender flavorful chicken, fresh crisp peppers and onions all served up in tortillas with your favorite taco toppings!
Dinner can be ready in less than an hour, is flavorful, healthy and so delicious!
Ingredients Needed for Chicken Fajitas:
- cumin
- chili powder
- brown sugar
- garlic
- lime juice
- olive oil
- worchestershire sauce
- chicken breast
- green bell pepper
- red bell pepper
- yellow onion
- tortillas

How to make Chicken Fajitas:
Add the lime juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, cumin, and chili powder to a small bowl. And stir them all together.
Cut the chicken breasts into thin pieces, and add them to an airtight container or large ziptop bag, and pour the marinade over the chicken. Place it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours to marinate.
Slice the peppers and and onion into thin pieces.
Grill the chicken, peppers, and onion until the chicken is cooked through and the veggies are crisp tender.
Top tortillas with chicken, and grilled veggies, and additional toppings and enjoy.

Fajitas are a great meal to customize by adding different toppings on them. Here are some of my favorites.
- avocado slices
- guacamole
- sour cream
- salsa
- pico de gallo
- hot sauce
- shredded cheese
- lime juice
- cilantro
These chicken fajitas are amazing. They have so much flavor, you can practically skip all the toppings on top, but of course, they’re delicious loaded up with your favorite toppings. It’s a great healthy meal option that the whole family will love.

Chicken Fajitas
Ingredients
For the Marinade:
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 1 TBS olive oil
- 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 TBS brown sugar
- 1 1/2 TBS garlic (minced)
- 3/4 TBS cumin
- 3/4 TBS chili powder
For the Fajitas:
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow onion
- 3 chicken breasts
- tortillas
optional toppings:
- salsa
- sour cream
- shredded cheese
Instructions
- Combine cumin, chili powder, brown sugar, garlic, lime juice, olive oil and Worcestershire in a bowl.
- Slice peppers and onion into thin pieces
- Cut chicken breasts into thin strips.
- Coat chicken pieces in sauce mixture.
- Place in fridge for 30 minutes to 2 hours to marinate
- Grill chicken, peppers and onions until chicken is thoroughly cooked. About 10-12 minutes. Rotating and flipping occasionally. Peppers should get softer, but still be crisp tender.
- Top tortillas with a few pieces of chicken and grilled vegetables. (And optional toppings).

Carol, it doesn’t look like your email address is attached to this comment, so I can’t email you back. I am not sure how you can print our recipes right now. You could copy the ingredients and directions into a word document and print from there (which is what I usually do on other sites). I am considering adding a link that goes to a printable version of each recipe, so you could print from there. OR, you might be able to print it if you are an email subscriber directly from the email?
