This taco dip is the perfect appetizer to serve at a party! Ready in 10 minutes, and no bake, it’s perfect for a crowd!
This taco dip is my favorite thing to make for a party or potluck! I first made it for the superbowl at the beginning of the year, and have made it several times since then. It’s the perfect appetizer or snack, that everyone loves!
This taco dip is similar to a 7 layer dip, because it has some of the same layers, but it’s even easier to make! And it’s bean free. My husband recently learned he has a bit of an allergy to beans, and gets an itchy throat when he eats them. I wanted him to be able to enjoy this yummy dip too, so this taco dip was the perfect alternative solution.
It’s got a seasoned creamy layer, with your favorite taco toppings on top!
Taco dip starts with a creamy layer made with cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning. It’s then topped with your favorite taco toppings, whatever those may be, you can pick your favorites.

How to make taco dip?
This tasty dip can be made in only about 5 to 10 minutes. You’ll beat your cream cheese till it’s nice and smooth, then you’ll mix in your sour cream and taco seasoning. You can use store bought taco seasoning, or homemade taco seasoning.
You’ll top the dip with your favorite taco toppings. I used shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced olives, diced green onions, and cilantro for mine.
It’s the perfect dip served with a giant bowl of chips, for any occasion. I promise everyone will keep coming back for more!
It would also be great served with pita bread, your favorite crackers, or even some fresh vegetables too.
Can I make taco dip ahead of time?
This taco dip can be made early, and covered with plastic wrap and stored in the fridge until you need it. You can make it a few hours, up to about 24 hours advanced for the best results. But it will stay good in the fridge for about 2-3 days.
