This blueberry smoothie is packed full of frozen blueberries, banana, almond milk, and coconut milk, for a delicious smoothie perfect for the mornings.
This blueberry smoothie is the best way to start the morning. It’ll brighten your morning with its refreshing antioxidant healthy goodness, and of course its delicious taste.
I love smoothies and I love creating new smoothies to try, and hopefully you’ll try them out too! This blueberry smoothie is made with frozen blueberries, a banana, almond milk and coconut milk, and it was my latest creation.
This was the first time I have made a blueberry smoothie and I don’t know why I haven’t before. It was really, really good and is definitely going on to my breakfast rotation.
Either a smoothie or yogurt are usually my go to breakfasts because I want something quick before heading out the door on my morning walk. And I want something packed full of good things for me.
This blueberry smoothie is packed full of beta-carotene, folate, vitamin A, vitamin E, potassium, manganese, calcium and more. It’s the perfect way to start your day off right.
Smoothies are so easy to make. I love how I can just throw everything into a blender or in my case, my magic bullet and whip it right together. Pour it into a glass and slurp it right down.
How to make a blueberry smoothie?
This blueberry smoothie is only 4 ingredients and just takes minutes to whip up. You’ll add in your banana, you can use fresh or frozen, whichever you have on hand. Top it with your frozen blueberries. And then pour your coconut milk and your almond milk on top.
If you only want to use coconut milk you can, or just almond milk you can. Or you can even use cow’s milk if that’s what you prefer and have on hand too. If you stick with the coconut and almond milk though, it makes this smoothie a nice vegan treat.
You’ll blend it all up in your blender until it’s smooth and it’s ready to sip up and enjoy right away.
The flavor combination possibilities when making smoothies are so fun. I love trying all different types of fruit smoothie recipes.
I made this blueberry smoothie with a cup of frozen blueberries, one fresh ripe banana (frozen would work great too), one cup of almond milk, and one-fourth cup of coconut milk. I topped it with some fresh blueberries and some shredded coconut for fun too.
Craig and I really enjoyed it, although some of Craig’s blueberries sank and he said, “I couldn’t sip them up with the straw” – so they were a bit of a surprise for him. Ha ha!

Nice recipe. I substituted 1/4 coconut milk with 1 small Yobaby blueberry yogurt and flax seed instead of coconut flakes.
Great original recipe though.

You’re recipe looks really good! I’m diabetic, so I’m learning to eat better. Do you know of a substitute for banana?
Any help is appreciated !
Aimee says
You could leave the banana out, it just helps make the smoothie creamier. You could try some avocado?
